Is Marine Plywood Waterproof?

Despite its name, marine plywood itself is not waterproof. Yes, it’s a type of plywood that can handle moisture, but it’s actually the glue and an external surface spray that’s applied during manufacturing that makes it waterproof and therefore an excellent material for boat building and other marine applications.

All our products are sourced from local forests except our Birch plywood which is brought in from Europe. We also stock a range of imported non structural plywood.

How do you cut veneer without chipping?
