Structural Plywood Melbourne

Structural Plywood

Structural Plywood is usually CD grade, which means C grade veneer on the face, knot holes filled and sanded. This plywood comes with an A bond glue, which is a waterproof bond, provided the edges are sealed. It is stress graded, the most common is F 11.

Structural Plywood also comes in a flooring grade, everything is the same except that the flooring is tongue and grooved down the long edges.

There are many varied uses for structural plywoods i.e trailer floors, fencing, ramps, external stair treads, horse stalls and stables, to name a few.

Austral Premium Structural

Austral Premium Structural is cost-effective and versatile. This great looking plywood is exterior grade and is popular for marine, shop fitting and cabinet making because it’s very stable (full Hoop Pine construction) and produces a great paint finish due to its closed grain veneer.

Concrete Formply is usually made with a stress grading of F 14. It has a phenolic overlay both sides, to make it slippery, so it is easily removed from a concrete pour, also this helps to stop the concrete sticking to it. Its other uses, like structural plywood, is many and varied.

Outdoor Marine Plywood

Structural plywood is a high-strength type of wood panel typically used for flooring, bracing, interior linings, membrane substrates and DIY projects

Structural plywood is definitely up to the task of withstanding moisture and being exposed to the elements, but just like marine plywood and exterior plywood, it’s the glue used during the manufacturing process that makes it waterproof.

This strong and durable material is a popular choice for flooring and bracing as well as lining walls and ceilings.

Absolutely! Structural plywood is an excellent choice for flooring in residential, commercial and industrial locations, particularly it’s a material with added strength when needed.
